Kiski – adopted with sanctuary support

senior Male dog, Neutered Australian Shepherd mix, black/white, 11+ years old

Sanctuary Animal

Status: Sanctuary

Special Needs: Medical

Kiski is a gentle senior who came to us when a Good Samaritan found him walking the streets of Anchorage. Attempts to locate a former owner were unsuccessful, so he came from Animal Care and Control into our sanctuary program. He needed some extensive health care related to his teeth and eyes, so that care has been provided and he has recovered. He has limited sight but is able to navigate his environment well; however, a ranch style home with a fenced yard would provide maximum support and safety.  We are looking for a sanctuary foster home or an adoptive home where we will continue to provide sanctuary support. He can cohabitate with another dog who would is a good match for his age and activity level. Portraits by David Jensen Photography.
