11/18/2023 – Now at age 18, our little Bella has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We are so very grateful to her sanctuary foster Jan, who cared for her so lovingly for the last two years. Our gratitude also to the donors who make our sanctuary program possible, so that vulnerable pets can live in love and safety while their quality of life remains.

Bella was left at Anchorage Animal Care and Control at age 16. Although in a state of neglect, her tail was still wagging!  Our sanctuary program was able to provide much needed dental and other health care and grooming. She’s in a loving sanctuary foster home to meet her needs in her senior years. Portrait by David Jensen Photography.
