Ares is one of 10 puppies that Friends of Pets rescued in December, in cooperation with Anchorage Animal Care & Control. We anticipate these puppies will be medium size adults (mom is 25 lbs).
As his name suggests, Ares is a brave boy who is not afraid and likes to lead! He also has a wonderful instinct on how to interact with people and a variety of animals. He has been fostered in a home with another dog, cat, rabbit and children. He has a strong grasp on sit/stay/lay down (and No) and is working on his house skills. He loves lap naps, kisses, treats, rough housing and interaction in general. He would be best matched in a household with other animals and kids, as he loves being part of the pack.
