June 2023 – We are sad to report that after an initial assessment of good health, Angel experienced an abrupt deterioration from which she could not recover. We also learned that she was actually a few years older than first thought. Angel received several days of hospice care and an opportunity to enjoy a bit of summer weather before she made her journey to the Rainbow Bridge. She’s truly an angel now. We are grateful to our sanctuary sponsors, and to the families who expressed an interest in adopting this lovely girl.

This gentle cutie was brought into our Sanctuary program from Anchorage Animal Care and Control. She had a major dental and doesn’t have many teeth left, but is otherwise healthy. We’re looking for a sanctuary foster or an adoptive home where we will partner to support her in her senior years. Portraits by David Jensen Photography.
