Featured Pet - Pepper

Cleo

Black shorthair female. Pepper needs a quiet home where she can cuddle and sleep with her human! She will require special food throughout her life to maintain her urinary health, but the love she will give you is more than worth it! Note - a kind supporter is willing to donate several cases of food to get Pepper started in her new home! Portrait by David Jensen Photography.

Cats available for adoption

Clyde
Black/brown longhair male. Clyde has come to us because his owner died. This gorgeous fellow is an independent spirit, but has shared his home with a small dog. He'd love a home where he could safely enjoy some sun on the deck! Portrait by David Jensen Photography.

Clyde

Kioko
Brown tabby and white longhair female. This lovable little girl will greet you when you come in the door, looking for some attention and love. She thoroughly enjoys playing with interactive toys. She loves attention, but is also independent, and content to observe the world around her from atop her perch. She prefers to be your only pet, but will be your friend for life! Portrait by David Jensen Photography.

Molson
Black and white medium hair male. This handsome boy became a favorite at Animal Care & Control because of his engaging personality, so when he became ill we were asked to rescue him for medical treatment. He's recovered and is ready for a new home! Portrait by David Jensen Photography.

Sierra
Tabby shorthair female. Look at those eyes!!! Originally an unclaimed stray, she was a favorite of the Animal Care & Control Center's volunteers, who also named her. For some reason her beauty has never captured anyone's heart, but she is safe in our long-term foster program. She has a weight issue that needs to be managed, and would probably be best as an only cat. Portrait by David Jensen Photography.

Cats trying out new homes

Ben and Jerry

White shorthair males with brown and black markings, 8 years old. These brothers came to us as strays through Animal Care & Control. We were asked to assist with medical care for their eyes. They could share a home, or be adopted separately. There will be some ongoing monitoring needed for their eye care, but the initial concerns have been addressed. Jerry is more independent, while Ben is a gentle kitty who would love to sit by the fire. Portraits by David Jensen Photography.

Mina
Siamese female. This petite little girl was brought to VCA East Anchorage Animal Hospital by a good samaritan who found her in distress. This sweet kitty recovered from the trauma, but has a slight head tilt. Her history is unknown, but she is affectionate and talkative, and a wonderful example of resilience. Portrait by David Jensen Photography.

Percy
Grey longhair male, 8 years. He came to us with front paws declawed. This handsome, gentle boy would prefer to be your only kitty, but could live with a gentle dog. He has great litterbox manners! Portrait by David Jensen Photography.

Tabitha
Tortie shorthair female. Foster home update! She does very well with dogs, is patient with kids. Loves to watch out the window, very curious, kind of easily startled by sudden movements until she trusts you. When I work from home she lies right next to me for hours. Sometimes playful (I know she would love to play more if it weren't for puppy interruptions), very sweet, very nice girl.Tabitha was originally a stray at Animal Care & Control, Portrait by David Jensen Photography.
